Our Team

Matthew is the co-founder and Managing Director of the ID_Corp Group of Companies. Matthew has over 25 years’ experience in the property development sector having held senior roles with Mirvac and Stockland before starting ID_Corp in 2009. Matt is one of the Responsible Managers under the Title Capital AFSL. He holds a BBus (Property) RMIT, Grad. Dip. (Applied Finance and Investment ) FINSIA and is a licenced real estate agent.

Ben Owen is the Chief Operating Officer of the ID_Corp Group of Companies. Ben has over 25 years’ experience in financial and commercial roles for both listed and private companies. Having spent the last 20+ years working in development and construction he holds a BBus (Accounting, Law & Management) Monash and is both a Certified Practising Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. Ben is one of the Responsible Managers under the Title Capital AFSL.

Scott Martin is the Chief Financial Officer of the ID_Corp Group of Companies.  Scott has over 25 years experience in property funds management and development.  Scott’s prior experience includes 7 years at Charter Hall, one of Australia’s largest fully integrated property investment and funds management groups and 13 years as the CFO of Folkestone Limited, an ASX listed property fund manager and developer which managed listed, unlisted and private funds.  Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, is a Chartered Accountant and is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD)

Mark Bennett is the Investment Director of Title Capital, part of the ID_Corp Group of Companies. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and has over 16 years of experience in real estate development, construction, professional services and investment management, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Mark has worked for large, listed entities such as Lendlease as well as private developers including Villawood Properties as Senior Fund Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Curtin University (WA).

Peter has over 20 years of experience in the property, construction and major projects industries, in roles as an architect, lawyer and General Manger. At ID_Corp, Peter is charged with strategic implementation of the legal and safety functions, whilst also managing operational and corporate governance.  Peter is a board member of the Merri-Bek Affordable Housing Association and Building Appeals Board. Peter holds Bachelors in Planning, Design, Architecture and Law from the University of Melbourne (BPD (Hons) BArch (Hons) LLB (Hons)), as well as a Diploma in Corporate Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia, DipACG (Hons).

Richard has over 13 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector, offering a well-rounded perspective shaped by both public practice and industry roles. He spent nine years at Pitcher Partners, specialising in financial reporting, compliance, and advisory services across a diverse client base. Richard joined ID_Corp in 2021 applying his technical knowledge to strategic financial management, commercial decision-making, and project delivery for the ID_Corp Group. He is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ Member) and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University.
